David was born and raised in Horsham, West Sussex where he attended Horsham Art School.

After college he moved to London to begin a successful career as a freelance illustrator working for a variety of organizations such as the BBC, Sony and EMAP.

Two years ago he decided on a change of lifestyle and moved to Corfu, one of the Greek Ionian islands. His intention was to paint photorealistic images of the island in oils, which became the inspiration for this website.

In the process of capturing the images for the paintings he travelled the island building up a catalogue of photographs, only a few of which would be utilised for artwork.

He realised that with so many beautiful and interesting places the photographic opportunities were exhaustive, many of the images working perfectly for reproductive prints.

This website is just a flavour of the pictures caught so far. He hopes over the next months and years to capture material that is new and fresh but still representative of the island, updating the site with new photos as regularly as possible.
